i know i know i have no right being here after such nelection but just one small message please
The Pig type is usually an honest, straightforward and patient person. They are a modest, shy character who prefers to work quietly behind the scenes. When others despair, they are often there to offer support. This type of person is reserved with those they do not know too well, but as time passes and they gain confidence, those around them may discover a lively and warm-hearted person behind that mask of aloofness.
Despite those born in the year of pig having a wide circle of friends and acquaintances, they have few close friends who understand them and share their inner thoughts and feelings. It is easy to put trust in pig type; they won't let you down and will never even attempt to do so. Such people simply want to do everything right according to social norms.
It is important to remember that these people are not vengeful creatures. If someone tries to take advantage of them, the pig type tend to withdraw to reflect on the problem and protect themselves. All they need in such situations is a little time to find a constructive way to respond.
The people of the pig type are conservative creatures of habit. They dislike being made to travel too far from familiar surroundings, unless it is a trip to the countryside. They love nature and are never happier than when they are out somewhere, far from the city.
There is a tolerant and peaceful side to their character. Such people are never afraid to allow others their freedom of expression; they do not want to cause arguments and if there is any way to avoid arguing, they will probably take this option. They are not weak, however, and if the situation forces them to fight these people will rise to the occasion, whether it is to defend themselves or those close to them.

being an indian in the intern group of forty people from twenty countries!! i was obliged to get together with an another indian and throw a party for all. basically we had to host an indian night for all interns. india night with good food and music etc. so we had indian dinner whcih we cooked for 40 people.
the menu as seen below:
Jal Jeera water (loved and treasured by the indians and looked upon in shock by the internationals)
Alloo Chaat (was the starter)
Palak Daal
Peas Pulauv
Pav Bhaji
Raita
Khadai Paneer (something i made with paneer and my own recipe, people loved it) :)
menu does not look too big but when you cook for forty people its a lot of food. please note that this adventure in cooking meant that i had to buy dishes the size of wedding dishes to cook in :P cool thing though is that in singapore there are alumnium serving dishes which was a blessing in disguise :)

Thailand
So it was a weekend in Thailand, Phuket to be precise, a beautiful Island in the south and a place of cool beaches and the most brilliant greenery. For those from South India, think traveling through the Blue Mountains but also being able to enjoy the most beautiful beaches. AHH quite Blissfull.
While this was meant to be a holiday, this also is what I would like to call an experience, was just not random stuff happening there because apart from spending time reading junk as always I also spent time getting to know Thailand.
There are a few things are the most apparent when you visit Thailand, that being the Sex tourism and the Massages, and I am glad to say that I experienced both. I went for a thai massage and it is an experience, for a person who gets so uncomfortable with touch I enjoyed the thai massage. My first experience of a massage ever, so was truly truly appreciated. Its funny to say that its enjoyable to have a person cracking every bone in your body.
Anyways apart from this very very relaxing day we went in the evening to the area where there is the only night life ever in Phuket, but with the night life comes all the sex tourism. While its very very apparent just walking through Phuket, huge white men with tiny and young Thai women, heart wrenching yet so apparent and so prevalent. Ok people who know me know how I can people watch and can listen to conversations happening anywhere, so that’s what I was looking at looking at these very different relationships, (cause for now I don’t want to make judgment on this I call it different). Foreign white men just to have sex and have a good time, I don’t want to ask them what they say to their mothers, what they say to their girlfriends or what they will ever till their future wives. Another crazy thing about all this is that these packages are sold on the web in euros and in dollars and is made very very easily available to anyone who wants it. Packages that sell girls who will accompany you through your trip in Thailand for many dollars and many Euros, part of the package is also conversation. But I don’t know how successful that is when the girl and Man don’t speak the same language (as I mentioned earlier I am not judging anything here. I don’t want to)
Disclaimer before I go on “amma you can not say no more Thailand to me, cause that is the country” anyways so while my other travelmates were partying I started to talk to the owner of the bar where we were (one of the most popular ones in Phuket) and she told me how this all happens and trust me its very very well organized and like most sex trade no one can stop it from happening. Though the government is trying to crack down (IHT Article)
And this is what I saw in Thailand and crazy to say this is what Thailand is. And with a surrounding that’s awesome it’s a great country to relax. I suggest a trip!! And I suggest to use Tiger Airways, budget airlines so don’t complain it is a budget but you want to travel the world on a budget you travel budget (hehhehehhehe)

Love, Hate, Name Something You Ate 1
ok ok after the death threats from CD Menon and peoples posts i am Back... Superwoman returns (ha ha ha)
anyways now since things have been happening in Singapore. the Love Hate Name Something You ate series is going to add structure to my thoughts.. so any time that there is a blog hibernation happening I am going to put my thoughts together for the Love, Hate, Name Something You Ate series.
so CD menon do I make You happy. Read Ahead Now!!! :)
things I love about living in Singapore is...
(disclaimer: there are a lot of things in Singapore that I love but i would have to leave something just to populate the whole series :) )
- the people I get to meet here!! I have had the chance and the oppurtunity to talk to and hang out (much to their dissapointment ;) with some real cool people. different cultures different stories and different experiences make each of these people unique and a pleasure to hang out with, they are some of the nicest people i have met, with so much to share with me!! i know i have a weakness and a tedency to graviate towards people but these people are people who would be appreciated by all around them :) Now come on i cant go on naming all the cool people here.. there are 30 AIESEC Interns at DHL!!!! :P
- the ease that everything gets done, I spent half an hour online paying Internet Bills House Rent and electric Bills and everything was done quick and fast!! I am all for how effecient this country is which amazes me while people here take it for granted!!!
- The fact that I am back to skirts again after seven years i am in Skirts :) feels sexy and good :D
- The Singapore National Library. I LOVE The place. has all the books i love reading causing me to spend hours and hours there and days after days reading and reading!!
Things I hate abt Singapore
(Disclaimer: Hate is a strong word to use here but i this is something that just not catch my fancy here)
- Singaporean people have not explored the outside world too much.. they have spent a lot of time confined to this little Island of theirs so their views sometimes on the world outside are extremelly limited, which sometimes leads them to be a racist society. Thats all I have to say abt them :)
- The fact that i have not been able to travel as yet!! i have not been able to take leave yet as my boss has already booked all the long weekends which means that i have seen nothing outside Singapore as yet which hurts and dissapoints me!! but hoping to start going somewhere soon!!!
Something I ate:
(Disclaimer:I have been eating alot my new weight would be witness to do that. I have breakfast, Lunch during a one hour lunch break and then dinner!!! )
- I eat a lot cause food is clean and Cheap!!
Things I love to eat
- Porridge: This is just rice cooked in water and salt, I love eating porridge with something on side and i am all happy then. I go looking for Porridge sometimes :)
- golden honey fried lemon chicken: I am now becoming a huge Thai food fan, I love and absolutely enjoy Thai food. But the golden honey fried chicken does take the cake (hahhahha)
- Malay Food catches my fancy
and i have been avoiding the chineese food so all is fine :)
so that is it for the begining of the series. and if you want to know whats been happening in my personal life apart from 13 hour work days mail me sometime :)
